The Monday Get Right

Chinua presents The Monday Get Right: a Happy Hour for teachers. Here's a note from Lenny to you.

"Having been a NOLA educator for seven years, I know just how draining our work can be. Having been a NOLA educator for seven years, I also know how impactful purposeful restitution can be in our work. The goal of The Monday Get Right is for teachers and other NOLA education professionals to have an intentional space for camaraderie and recuperation.

You've spent all day celebrating your students and their families, come spend a few hours every third Monday setting the tone for your own personal happiness by celebrating yourself and your fellow educators. Show your teacher ID and get a special educator--not to be confused with Special Educator--discount on a signature drink (on top of regular happy hour prices), order a small plate off of Ace Hotel's delicious lobby menu, and enjoy the company of other teachers and educators.

As far as the music goes, I have pretty eclectic tastes and am going to play what I feel, but feel free to come over and request something that will help you start your week off right."
