Movement Mondays with Resistance Radio and Chinua wsg Lt General Russel L Honoré (RET)

MM

Get tipsy and tip the scales. Movement Monday is a collaboration between Ace Hotel New Orleans, DJ ChinuaResistance Radio of WHIV, Indivisible New Orleans and various community partners to create an informal space for co-operation, discourse, and movement around a variety of issues in New Orleans and nationwide.

This panel's guest is Lt General Russel L Honoré (RET). He will be talking about the New Green Army and his advocacy against the Bayou Bridge Pipeline.

We define movement as purposeful intellectual, cultural, and ideological progress from uninformed to informed, from siloed to collaborative, and from passive to active. Held monthly, each Movement Monday will include a live audience taping of WHIV’s hour-long Resistance Radio show (hosted by Kenny Francis and Dr. MarkAlain Dery) featuring an interview with a culturally or politically relevant guest and a post-taping happy hour (READ: with real happy hour prices!) for casual but purposeful discussion of the topics covered during the interview as well as an opportunity for action spearheaded by a local community partner.
