Music & Culture Coalition of New Orleans 5th Anniversary Benefit Party

MaCCNO-5th-Anniv-STD

#MaCCNO5 launches a party with a purpose featuring DJ Quickie Mart, The Stooges Music Group, Cyril & Gaynielle Neville, The Bayou Saints, Chuck Perkins, and DJ Soul Sister

The Music and Culture Coalition of New Orleans (MaCCNO) turns 5 this Fall and is celebrating half a decade of working at the intersection of culture, policy, and social justice in New Orleans the way New Orleanians do; by throwing a party with a purpose. Musicians and DJs that have been a part of, or support MaCCNO, and its efforts over the past 5 years will take the stage to rock your socks. There will be raffle prizes from local businesses, Camel Toe Lady Steppers, and more.

100% of the ticket proceeds will support MaCCNO's mission through its programs, staff and advocacy work, such as City Hall advocacy for musicians and culture bearers, the production of the free community Guide to New Orleans Street Performance and the forthcoming Good Visitors Guide to New Orleans, among many other organization, mediation, and advocacy programs.

Best known for a noise ordinance protest and second-line into City Hall in April of 2013, MaCCNO is celebrating 5 years working at the intersection of culture, policy, and social justice in New Orleans; advocating and organizing with musicians, artists, and culture bearers to ensure a more ‘culture friendly’ city.

Tickets are $15 advance online or $20 cash or credit at the door.
