NIGHT MOVES with DJ Nice Rack and DJ Heel Turn

NM

Known to meld the nostalgia of yesterday's hip hop and rave gems with futurist sounds.

Born in Louisiana, the southern epicenter of blues beats and bumpin bass, DJ Nice Rack cut her vinyl teeth in Los Angeles. Spinning her eclectic cacophony of bass and breaks, bounce, and southern rap, she's melded the nostalgia of yesterday's hip-hop with the futurist sounds of electro and house that keep the dance party at full booty dystopian anarchy. She has an inkling to collaborate with local DJs in search of funkier soul pockets.

Hailing from the Westbank, DJ Heel Turn started out honing his unique mix of electronic, soul, hip-hop, r&b, & house on WTUL with a show he likes to call “Accepted Eclectic”. He has become a regular fixture at bars and clubs like Hi-Ho Lounge, Sidney’s Saloon, and Poor Boys.
