Join us for Conscious Cinema presented by Patois Film Festival on every first Monday of the month. Screenings will range from drama to documentaries, and will always touch on environmental or sociopolitical issues.

This month we're screening Losing Ground, a comedy-drama about a Black American female philosophy professor and her insensitive, philandering, and flamboyant artist husband who are having a marital crisis. When the wife goes off on an almost unbelievable journey to find "ecstasy", her husband is forced to see her in a different light. —Leslye Allen

Before every film, there will be a special cocktail hour in the Lobby with rotating guests. Meet, mingle and have a drink. Curtain opens at 7pm.
